In celebration of the Back to the Future Day (21 October 2015), the Hoverboard utility is now released. This utility allows you to stay in mid-air for a certain time by holding the Down button and fly horizontally by optionally holding Left and Right buttons. Combining Down and Left/Right results in a straight and quick horizontal flight. You cannot go up, unless there's some piece of a smooth slope that can elevate you. You can also hold Shift to avoid turning sides like with moonwalking and with the Helicopter.
The Hoverboard's maximum speed is higher with TestStuff, just like with the Helicopter and other utilities, and it can stay between turns in the batty mode.
It is activated like the parachute, so it can be used to save you in mid-air, and needs to be enabled in mid-air.
Terraria players will immediately recognize very similar mechanics to Terraria's Hoverboard, with the key difference being that you don't have to hold both Down and Left/Right buttons at once, just Down is sufficient. It also consumes jetpack fuel points.
