I'm just wondering if it is possible to make background and music unique for the chosen map. For example, I would put a blue screen (as original) to be background and mario theme song. So, there's a way to make it, or not? |

the color of the background has to be close to very black. but you can also render a fullhd sprite all over the whole map which would be your background... not sure about performance. |

I found that rendered huge sprites can not be displayed at some PC`s. Otherwise it cousing laggy things (huge fps drop) without showing the sprite. I used that principle in NewAgeRR, into darkness zone. Huge black sprite been rendered on top of the screen to hide everything. It works fine on my PC, but around 20-25% of players said they still can see their worm, map etc but FPS significantly dropped. |

In this case i think with even larger sprites it may not work at all. Or mabe number of layer does matter. It its underneeth of everything, maybe it will work. |

it depends on the sprite size. and i think it also depends on the maximum texture size supported by GPUs. today the most common are: 4096x4096, 8k, 16k. There are still 2k as well, but only on very weak GPUs |

I still want to ask about music for map. Can I set it for some maps or I need to use it on all maps? And how to do it? |
