Ok. So I just can't get project x working. I've read all the documentation. I have the correct version of WA, Wormkit, rubberworms and PX. It just won't run. When i click on wormkit, nothing happens. I've run the PXUpdater.exe. It says all 320 files are there and up to date. Here is what my PXLog file says: Log started Project X! Version : 0.8.0.3104 for WA 3.6.31.0 WormKit Module Wormkit module is used : wkRubberWorm31.dll Unlocked code region Unlocked data region Loading from : px3d.dll Failed to load PX3D library! Error : The specified module could not be found Can't load PX3D unit, terminating.. The file px3d.dll is definitely there, and definitely not corrupt. I've disabled firewalls and virus checkers. SOMEONE PLEASE tell me what I need to do I'm using windows 10 |

Download d3dx9_33.dll 32 bits version (http://es.dll-files.com/d3dx9_33.dll.html) Backup the old file and then overwrite new one in c:/windows/system32 and c:/windows/syswow64. (i dont know if windows 10 has same folders) if this doesnt works try with the 64 bits version of d3dx9_33.dll instead |

OK so I got it working. Here is what I did in case anyone else has the same problem. I have windows 10 which has DIRECT X 10. All I needed to do was install direct x 9. Which I did from here https://www.microsoft.com/en-gb/download/details.aspx?id=8109 Download this package. make a folder c:\directx (for example). Run the program it asks you where to extract the files to. Browse to c:\directx. Then run the directx setup program. And now project x works!! |
